This is something that can be easily fixed but The Sims 3 Dev Team does nothing. But not zombies? Yes, you don't have to have the lunar cycle on, but it's absolutely ridiculous if I'm trying to play a realistic family and then zombies just start popping out of nowhere. How is it, that they can have on and off checkboxes for Witches, Werewolves, Vampires etc. I think the final straw for me was with Supernatural's implementation of zombies. The Sims 3 is no longer a game, but a mundane chore, a child that you have to constantly feed and change its diaper. I look at The Sims 2 and then look at The Sims 3 and I just can't help but wonder, what the hell happened? $20 - $40 for neighborhoods? SimPoints instead of USD? New problems with each expansion? More often then not, I'm spending more time trying to fix the game and trying to figure out how to have fun with it, then to actually have fun with it. Now I don't mind continued fluctuation of DLC, but there is a difference between providing DLC while supporting the game, and providing DLC to cover up the problems with the game.

Instead of releasing frequent patches to fix the issues that need to be fixed, the devs are focusing unnecessarily on new worlds, custom content etc. I love The Sims series, I've played the games since I was 10 years old, now I'm 21 and with all the time and investment I've put into The Sims 3, with the purchasing of expansions, to the active posting on the official forums, I find myself hoping for the game to get better, for fixes to be made, for bugs to be squashed, but that's just it, nothing is getting better and nothing is being fixed. Before you raise your pitchforks simmers, hear me out on this one.
